About Me

 Tomiko Mariah aka “Dj Miko So ?” was born on Oct.13th, 2008, she'd always loved Hip Hop and R&B music. 

Growing up she demanded control of the music at home and in the car, constantly arguing with her family about the songs they wanted to play. Unfortunately, she was the youngest and often lost those arguments. Her dad used to tell her, “Sorry, you're not old enough to pick the music", to which she'd reply with a little sass "So?", and the name "DJ Miko.So?'' was born. 

Recognizing her passion, and with her 9th birthday just around the corner, her parents decided to surprise her with a beginner's DJ controller. 

She started to spin right away but struggled to learn the basics, let alone master the complicated art of turntablism. Discouraged, but not defeated, she asked her parents for help and that’s when they found the Vancouver-based Dj academy Table Tutors. She was enrolled in December, 2017 and began sharpening her skills under legendary turntablists DJ Relik and DJ Wunderkut. 

She practiced day and night, eventually taking home some of the most prestigious awards the school had to offer, First Place Kidkutters DJ MVP and DJ Kumite People’s Champ. 

 After countless hours of mixing and scratching, and thousands of likes and views on her Instagram page (@miko.so), DJ Miko.so? is getting noticed. 

At only 13 years old she already has a long resume of performances, including  Fvded In The Park, The Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, Adidas Canada and much more, helping to establish her as the premier kid Dj in all of Canada.

Keep an eye on this young inspiration, her competitive spirit and lively personality will entertain music lovers and Hip Hop heads for decades to come.
